a letter from brother Michel
Dear englishspeaking friends in the USA, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, etc.,
I have diligently done the structure of my blog all over again from March 10 to March 18, 2006.
The blog had been created in January and February, 2006, based on an American application program: Movable Type, which from the start caused troubles for the McIntosh users, and which soon afterwards presented a few problems for me: For inexplicable reasons, disappearance or instability of certain entries (or posts, or articles), difficulties in rebuilding the blog at every addition of new elements, difficulties in handling comments when the comments began increasing in number. It too promised to be hard to organize the blog into multiple pages. And so on.
As I am forever pressed for time, I cannot stay for ages at the maintenance of the blog system, I decided to give up a software platform that offered a lot of functions, but also a lot of problems.
For this reason I got down to creating a new base in plain HTML completely all by myself. It undoubtedly is less powerful than Movable type, which is written in Perl and Javascript, but it is a base I can thoroughly master and rely on now.
In short, despite appearances to the contrary the blog, the URL of which still is freesoulblog.net, is entirely new in the background.
I have given up some functions, that it had not taken me long to realize they were fairly useless, like the categories which from the start had proved to be a burden, because I was forever hesitating to choose between them whenever a new idea crossed my mind. I do not think that the disappearance of the categories may cause troubles for the readers. As for the archives, they are going to be soon listed in the home page; the list will include the URL links with the entries.
The blog, altogether home-made, is still being under construction.
I hope that my friends everywhere on earth, part of them being sisters and brothers in faith, will like my blog intended to spread and promote my thought, which they have done me the honor to valuing, and which is entirely based on the spirit of The Revelation of Arès, the witness of which I was in 1974 and 1977..
